Main News…
Well…tonight I write you while running on two
hours of sleep. “Why,” ask you, “is that?!” Well, the answer is rather
logical: I could not sleep. I’ll answer the next question for you by
explaining why I was stricken with an episode of insomnia in the next
paragraph….
Now, the answer that you crave so desperately: I was
listening to “Yesterday” and “Hey, Jude” by the Beatles. Said songs had
a very melancholy effect on me, causing me to reflect upon my life and
feel quite lonely. I tossed and turned questioning whether or not I
would die lonely and after coming to the conclusion that I’d do
something about it, I was lost in more sensless, stupid train of
thought…
But, whatever, screw it…
Other News and Senseless Ramblings…
1. I owe Rikki an honourable mention. She has helped me put
this…thing together. That was cool of her. I’ll have a link to
her…thing available later on.
2. Thanks to everyone who has given me eprops or commented on my last
post. That is, except for that creepy bleeding heart kid. (The bleeding
heart kid is a menace…jk)
3. The dude in the background is Paul Newman in “Cool Hand Luke.” This
is my absolute favorite movie. I advise everybody to watch it 12 times
a day.
4. To all you veterans of this community thing whom have visited here
and thought “Good lord, what a newb…”: I know, I don’t quite
have the bearings of this thing yet. So I appologize in advance for any
annoyance that I may cause.
And Now, For Some Lyrics (At least I let you know ahead of time so you can skip it.)
Hey, Jude, don’t make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
Hey, Jude, don’t be afraid
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better.
And any time you feel the pain, hey, Jude, refrain
Don’t carry the world upon your shoulders
Well don’t you know that its a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder
Hey, Jude! Don’t let her down
You have found her, now go and get her
Remember, to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better.
So let it out and let it in, hey, Jude, begin
You’re waiting for someone to perform with
And don’t you know that it’s just you, hey, Jude,
You’ll do, the movement you need is on your shoulder
Hey, Jude, don’t make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
Side Note: The above song was actually written for one of the
band members sons. McCartney was fond of the boy, whos name was Julien,
and was distressed that the boy was rather depressed. Even if you don’t
care for the song, you must admit that thats one helluva nice thing to
do for anyone.
All y’all have a good one till we run into eachother again…
what a creative name…
